Well, I'm happy to report that my juicer was once again making the familiar "varoom-crunch-crunch-varoom" noise, this morning. I bet if the world knew the potential of "green juice" the coffee shops would be put out of business!!!!
I remember drinking green juice in the evening of my juice feast, and I also remember being WIDE AWAKE all night long!!! I have never forgotten that lesson. So, what better time of the day to have green-juice then upon rising... the coffee drinkers of the world don't know what they are missing.... (I also remembered, what a bunch celery can do to your body too!).
Today was a great day!!! Green Juice in the morning, Carrot Juice for lunch, I had an apple mid afternoon, and then a salad for dinner... I feel better already!!! No sugar in this blood-stream today, and I am happy to report that no pulling out my hair looking for it either!!!
Off to the cottage for the weekend... that could be a challenge... wish me luck, juicer in hand!

It's blogging thyme again!!!
Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho Rosie, and thanks for stopping by to say "hi".... to all my loyal "fan club" (both of you) I'd like to report that I am alive and well...
It has been a very busy, stressful, interesting, creative... you name the adjective, you could probably add it to describe how my life has been in the past few months. There has been so much going on that I am sorry to say that my "raw" eating habits have taken a bit of a "back seat" to life.
It is always amazing to me how hard it is to get back on the "healthy" band wagon, you would think that your body would relish the fresh foods and nutrients that are going in... however, today I find that my body is just saying "where is the sugar....". I can report that I am slowly creeping back into my "good-old" eating habits, and as you can tell from that last statement, my body is hitting the withdrawal today. Rosie's "hello, hello" couldn't have come at a better time :0)
Things happen in life with a purpose and a reason, sometimes we don't know what they are, and sometimes they are as simple as a "hello, hello" from across the computer... but sometimes that is all you need to know that you are on the right path again, and that you have friends to help you along the way.
So, I am happy to report, that with the addition of my new herb garden, it is blogging thyme again! Two feet forward, never looking back, here is to good friends and good thymes and good food... can life get any better????
Kathy
PS - and I am happy to report that along with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme, there is lots of fresh mint growing in my herb garden, I sure do love those chocolate-mint smoothies!
