It's blogging thyme again!!!

Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho Rosie, and thanks for stopping by to say "hi".... to all my loyal "fan club" (both of you) I'd like to report that I am alive and well...

It has been a very busy, stressful, interesting, creative... you name the adjective, you could probably add it to describe how my life has been in the past few months. There has been so much going on that I am sorry to say that my "raw" eating habits have taken a bit of a "back seat" to life.

It is always amazing to me how hard it is to get back on the "healthy" band wagon, you would think that your body would relish the fresh foods and nutrients that are going in... however, today I find that my body is just saying "where is the sugar....". I can report that I am slowly creeping back into my "good-old" eating habits, and as you can tell from that last statement, my body is hitting the withdrawal today. Rosie's "hello, hello" couldn't have come at a better time :0)

Things happen in life with a purpose and a reason, sometimes we don't know what they are, and sometimes they are as simple as a "hello, hello" from across the computer... but sometimes that is all you need to know that you are on the right path again, and that you have friends to help you along the way.

So, I am happy to report, that with the addition of my new herb garden, it is blogging thyme again! Two feet forward, never looking back, here is to good friends and good thymes and good food... can life get any better????

Kathy

PS - and I am happy to report that along with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme, there is lots of fresh mint growing in my herb garden, I sure do love those chocolate-mint smoothies!

Aw, thanks Kathy! You are so sweet! I had been missing your posts so I'm glad to hear all is well. Life does take us in so many directions. And that's okay about the eating habits taking a back seat. Happens to the best of us! :) You'll be back in the saddle in no time again.

As for my allergies? Well, they've been ever present. Grr! Maybe if I made the committment to be 100% raw vegan I'd cure myself but I still have things to work on I guess. ha ha! I also started gardening for the first time this year so that hasn't helped at all. Oh well. It's been worth it.

Love your herb garden. Looks so great and healthy. Must smell fresh and amazing! We're growing ours but now we've forgotten what some of the herbs we're growing. Guess we'll soon find out! I know we'll have lots of basil which I'm totally excited about.

I'm so glad you posted today. It was a treat to "hear" from you today. Hope you have a fantastic week!

Kathy!!! I am so glad to see you back again ;)

I'm having a love affair with Thai Coconuts right now :) the liquid and the pulp is to die for! Matt Amsden (Rawvolution) has a great Thai soup recipe and I am enjoying it so much! we need a raw food date. Maybe not all the way out to TO...how about I fix some of my favourites from his book and deliver it? :)

Hi Sweetie!

I jumped by here the other day to check on you and saw that you still hadn't "unpacked" (from moving day) ;-)

I'm glad you are back!!!

Honeydew Hugs,
Keely
